Holiday Inn Express Baltimore-Downtown

Excellent service. I checked in very late (around midnight), so the hotel manager gave me food and drinks for the night, which was very much appreciated. Further, he pushed my check-out time for the next morning, for free of charge. He was very receptive and answered all my questions.

The surrounding area isn't the safest, but it's only a block away from downtown, which is very safe.

I had to attend a conference in Baltimore and I knew that I would end up spending most of my time at the conference venue or being out with the conference attendees. So, I wanted a reasonably priced hotel in walking distance from the place where the conference venue (Inner Harbor). I chose this hotel because it looked decent on the internet and was about 60% the price of the conference hotel (and this included free internet). I was not disappointed. In fact, I was pleasantly surprised from the room, both from its cleanliness and its furniture: it looked very nice. The breakfast, which was included in the price, was nothing special but still I could start the day without having to search for something to eat at 7:00. Overall, value for money

Hotel was so close to the Inner Harbor one could walk there. Loved the look of the lobby, so grand and gorgeous.

The parking was very limited but we did find space across the street in the street.

Although the Hotel was not exactly in the Inner Harbor, it was close enough to walk to if you want to take a long walk, but their complimentary shuttle service is a wonderful plus. Parking rates are much lower than other Baltimore hotels, and you can leave your car in their parking lot and take their shuttle. Complimentary breakfast wasn't elaborate but good and very convenient. Coffee or tea all day long. The courteous service of all hotel employees was outstanding. If we visit Baltimore again, we would not hesitate to stay there.

With the exception of the area not being the best, there was nothing I didn't like about this Holiday Inn Express Baltimore-Downtown!

I appreciated that there was a small refridgerator as well as a microwave in the room. Very convenient to Downtown Baltimore, the Harbor Area. My family and I actually walked 6 blocks to the Harbor.

The Carpet appeared to need a cleaning.

Over booked there parking lot ..park on street for 2.00hr. Once street is filled your screwed no where to park ..was allowed to park out front but had to move car by 8 am or car gets towed go to move car in parking lot finally but staff wanted to charge me 12.00 to park for 2 hrs after night crew said we could park for free till we checked out in am....i told them what I thought of ther dump! And checked out...not my fault holiday inn sells more rooms then they have parking..also after I said I wasnt paying 12.00 to park 2 hrs. The said they would tow my car...real nice people..

I liked the shuttle was available; however, to only leave on the hour was sometimes inconvient. Also, the size of the vehicle if there were several parties trying to be accomadated. First come, first served.

I was not real happy about the parking. I was there for an entire week and paid for the entire week and moved my car twice. The last time I returned I had to park in an alleyway in a very tight spacing. It was not condusive to my loading the car the next day in order to leave.

I liked the fact that it was only a five minute walk to the Inner Harbor. You didnt have to drive down there in order to have fun. The night life was within walking distance as well. The hotel was very quiet even for as crowded as it seemed to be.

I liked everything about the Holiday Inn Express Baltimore-Downtown. I loved the fact it was an old bank turned into a hotel. I thought that was very cool. The room and bathroom was modern and nice. The bed was extremely comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Baltimore area.
